Rare 1895 Victorian silver book chain hammered silver with rose quartz pendant
A wonderful piece of Victorian design, which seems to transcend the 1895ish Victorian for the Arts and Crafts, having beautifully hand hammered silver links. These wonderful British Victorian book chains are so in demand nowadays and this is superb example. Very fine and feminine silver links with those tiny bands of hand hammered silver linking each together. This necklace also has a beautiful tear-drop shape rose quartz stone, with lots of cloudy swirls to gaze at.
It has a series of leaves in silver at the top of the pendant, where it connects to the bale. The rose quartz measures approx 3.5cm in length. The chain measures approx 55cm in length (approx 21.5 inches).
A fabulous length to wear this rose quartz at your heart!!! The chain is stamped STERLING on the catch. A wonderful piece of Victorian design, which is extremely sought after today. I will post the necklace by International Tracked and Signed.
