Antique Georgian GOLD & ROCK CRYSTAL Intaglio Seal FOB Pendant Armorial CREST

A Georgian Rose gold fob with a carved Rock Crystal seal. The seal features a crest which has a number of symbols including an anchor, a bee and a crescent moon. Originally made to hang on a watch chain and used to seal correspondence, today it makes a unique and beautiful pendant which can be worn on a chain.

Please note I have photographed this on a gold chain to show how it looks but the chain is not included, the price is for the fob only. Identifying Marks / Makers Marks. Age / date of manufacture. Total height including the hanging loop is 1 1/4 (3.2 cm). Stone measures 11/16" (1.8 cm) x 9/16" (1.4 cm). The stone is free from chips and has a shiny polished surface. The gold surround has a small hole on one corner (please see photograph 6) otherwise it is in excellent condition with no splits or dents.
