Gorgeous Edwardian large amethyst and rose quartz pendant beautiful

This is a beautiful Edwardian gemstone pendant, with the most unusual combination of rose quartz and amethyst. It dates from the c1910 Edwardian period. I certainly have not seen a pendant like this and it makes such a pretty statement. I love the way the bail is fixed to a rounded bead of rose quartz and then some links are suspended from that, from which the main part of the pendant is suspended. I always love a pendant which moves when you do, hence you get a lovely flow.

Both the rose quartz and the amethyst are interesting, with lots of fabulous inclusions you can see when the light hits the pendant. The complete pendant, including the bail measures approx 6.4cm in length with it measuring approx 2.6cm at its widest point. The fittings are in unmarked but tested sterling silver. An auspicious combination of stones. Rose quartz is such an auspicious stone, as it supports and attracts unconditional love.

Amethyst is supposed to aid the purification of your mind and to promote calmness, reducing stress. It is unusual to find them together in an antique pendant like this.
